The 5 Rhythms - created and developed over many decades by Gabrielle Roth:

„Movement is my medicine, my meditation, my metaphor and my method, a living language we can rely upon to tell us the truth about who we are, who we are with, and where we are going. There is no dogma in the dance.“

While she was observing people in their movement she recognized recurrent universal rhythms, the 5 rhythms „a healing map for our soul“ that exist throughout the universe. We can discover them in nature: in wildlife, in the seasons, in social life, in human relationships, in emotions, in life cycles, simply in life.

The 5 rhythms dance is a movement meditation and spiritual practice at the same time, a way to reconnect to our inner source, to nourish our hunger for vitality and inner balance.
